Romantic and Victorian Poetry

The Industrial Revolution made it a lot easier for people. It made it easier to produce goods and it made companies run smoother by increasing the speed of machines that way humans didn’t have to work as hard to make things. A lot of people lost things as well as their jobs. The France Revolution was a warfare that changed the way that people think. By what I read England changed to a industrial nation from a agricultural society. England also lost their 13 colonies in North America. This really had a negative impact on England.

The people who were in the lower class really had it bad. I think they had it bad because the nation doesn’t have sympathy for them and things were only getting harder. It was almost no hope for the poor people to make a change. A lot of this is not possible because of the Laissez-Faire philosophy.

I like the knid of poems that I read in this lit. Class because it’s not just expressing someone’s feelings. It also expressing how they feel about life in general. All of the poems I read during this class was mostly about someone finding theirself in the world and what the world means to them. It also has a lot to do with what they believe in and how they feel about what other people think. I like these poems because it’s not really simple but they are describing things to you so you can see nature in their eyes.
